Before joining McGill University, Cornelius Borck worked at the Institute for Science Studies, University of Bielefeld, Germany, the Max-Planck-Institute for History of Science in Berlin, Germany, the Institute for the History of Medicine, Free University Berlin, Germany, and directed, from 2002 to 2004, the research group “Writing Life: Media Technology and the Life Sciences, c1800-1900” at the Faculty of Media, Bauhaus University Weimar, Germany.
