Numerous individuals and institutions collaborate to produce<br \/>the<\/em><em> international art history conference series covering art and new media, art and technology,<br \/>art-science interaction, <\/em><em>and the history of media as pertinent to contemporary art.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Conference Series Mission Statement 2004<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2004, a group of scholars from a variety of fields met at Villa Vigoni, Italy to brainstorm the First International Conference on the Histories of Media Art, Science and Technology. The Mission statement was written by: Irina ARISTARKHOVA, Annick BUREAUD, Wendy COONES, Dieter DANIELS, Sara DIAMOND, Diana DOMINGUES, Jean GAGNON, Oliver GRAU, Machiko KUSAHARA, Roger MALINA, Gunalan NADARAJAN, Manrai HSU, Ryszard KLUSZCYNSKI, Edward SHANKEN (Italy, 2004)<\/p>\n<p>After the first MAH Conference in 2005, a series had begun and now the larger field is invited to participate in the conference series actively, passively or deeply.\u00a0 There are calls for papers to submit to each conference and also calls for proposals to host the next conference in the series.<\/p>\n<p>In the menu above can be found previous conferences&#8217; call for papers, conference programs, and venue information.
